Micky Du has over 25 years of experience as a Creative Director at several major multinational branding agencies.
As a strategic thinker, he realises his creative passion from his core belief that good design enhances and better peoples' lives.
His experience includes creating award winning work for brands such as GE, Coca-Cola, IBM, Microsoft, Motorola, Socialite, Regent Hotels Malaysia, DHL, Marina Sands Singapore, MTN (a major South African mobile telephone network), the Sydney Olympics, Sydney Airport and Commonwealth Bank, one of Australia's major banks.
Mcky’s previous experience includes establishing an award-winning design firm in South Africa, Du Brothers Design, to working as the Creative Director for Ogilvy & Mathers and The Brand Union. He has been named as a Top 10 designer in South Africa after winning "The Sappi Designer of The Year Award in the early 90’s. His work has appeared in major graphic design publications such as Communication Arts and Étapes Graphique.
He is a founding member of Big World Homes Australia - an affordable housing initiative which is one of the most progressive, socially oriented, community driven housing projects in Australia.
Micky has been invited to lecture 4th year design students at the internationally-acclaimed Greenside Design Centre in Johannesburg and a finalist juror for The Loeries, Africa's most acclaimed creative industry awards.
