The name Maisense derived from the word Mai, pulse in Chinese, which is an important bio-signal for both modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.
It’s an innovative startup working in pharmaceutical technology.
Together with Maisense, our medical experts, product designers and mechanical engineers developed and design the Freescan™: the first cuffless blood pressure monitor in the world.
Using the PulseRead™ technology, it’s the very first monitor able to read blood pressure straight from the pulse.
A UX challenge in a complex balance between the pulse reading technology and the accuracy requirements and usability mapping, bridging it all into a small portable hospital grade device in a consumer product.
