The line management interface unit it’s a sophisticated design manufactured in a very simple way.

Half of the housing is the structure, one single part holding the whole components inside.  The second half is a one-piece bended sheet metal door. The key to the simple manufacturing process was the special bending tool that allowed fast single stroke operation to get the final shape.   The sane tool for all the bends.

Take a couple of weeks in the prototype shop, some 3mm thick CNC cutting aluminum, 8mm thick galvanized plasma cutting steel, one dozen of welding spots, a lot of linear welding replaced by double face heat resistant tape, some seasoned metal workers and the best painting crew ever, and that’s about it.

The product is designed, developed, manufactured and delivered to the customer all by the design studio.  Every single stage of the entire operation is planned and managed by the studio.
