The Medusa table lamp is a random shaped light globe on a tripod.  The random event shaping the globe’s surface makes it different each time you look at it.

Like the chromosomal disorder on the Down syndrome generates different people, the conceptual randomness generates the differences that make the difference.

The Medusa was the pro-bono work that the design community did to help the Down Syndrome Foundation rise funds for their operations in Portugal.
